Richborough Estates has received planning consent for the delivery of 140 new homes in Staffordshire.
Split over two sites, the consents have been granted for the delivery of up to 50 homes on a 6.2 acre plot at the village of Kinver, situated off Hyde Lane, and 90 homes on a 9.8 acre site off Beggars Bush Lane, on the southern edge of the village of Wombourne.
Both sites have been planned to ensure delivery of areas of open space, with Pegasus Group providing planning services for both applications.
Martyn Grimes, Regional Director at Richborough Estates, said: “Securing these two consents in quick succession demonstrates the appetite from local authorities for well-considered developments that are designed to add to the existing communities both in terms of the character of the area and in support of local services.
“We have a strong history of working in collaboration with Pegasus Group on the delivery of successful planning decisions and are really pleased with the speed with which these applications were submitted.”
Just 4.7 miles from Stourbridge, the village of Kinver is situated on the River Stour. The development site is close to the village’s centre and Mill Brook runs through the north eastern edge of the site, which is bounded by a combination of trees and hedges.
Consent has been received for the delivery of a combination of two to four-bedroom properties in a mix of styles.
Situated five miles from Wolverhampton, Wombourne is a picturesque village set around a traditional village green.
The Beggars Bush Lane site is a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village and has been designed to supply a combination of one to five-bedroom properties. Public open spaces will be accommodated on the site through the retention of existing woodlands and delivery of a new central green area.
Both applications were delivered in conjunction with Pegasus Group, The Richards Partnership, nineteen47, BWB, Tyler Grange and Midland Forestry, who assisted in providing consultant advice to support the applications
