We’ve joined the Home Builders Federation (HBF), the representative body of the house building industry in England and Wales, whose members account for 80% of new homes built each year.
At Richborough Estates, we work in the best interests of both landowners and developers, helping to alleviate pressures associated with the intensive planning process by delivering sites to the open market that have outline consents in place.
The input from the housebuilding sector is vital to ensure that we’re delivering consented schemes that are deliverable and within the scope of housebuilders’ requirements.
While we’ve drawn on the expertise and knowledge of the HBF in the past to address these points, our membership gives us access to research and wider industry discussions. It enables us to further streamline our processes and deliver permissions faster and more efficiently, reducing changes required between the outline and detailed planning stages.
We’re not a company that believes in just getting deals over the line; we want to ensure that every development that we work on is the best that it can be, delivered quickly and efficiently and with the maximum return for both our development partners and the Local Authority.
Ultimately, this means that we will be able to support more houses and make a greater contribution to national housing targets.
