Elan Homes became our development partner last year, just months after we secured outline planning consent for the delivery of 45 new homes on the land.
Construction began in January but was suspended in March due to COVID-19 restrictions. Construction workers returned in May in limited numbers ahead of the first homes being released for sale “off plan”, by appointment only, in early June. A show home at the development is scheduled to open in late summer/ early autumn.
The Hyde will offer a total of 45 homes across five acres, with a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, including a rare opportunity to own a brand new bungalow. Linked to the development, and to ensure the neighbourhood remains somewhere people love living, Elan will invest £68,000 to improve community facilities.
Elan sales director Tracey Ball said: “The acquisition of the site in Kinver from strategic land promoter Richborough Estates has enabled us to build a collection of design-led homes in a beautiful location, while contributing towards South Staffordshire’s five year housing supply.
“We’ve received dozens of enquiries from potential purchasers, with many of them either waiting for the show home to open or for specific properties to be released for sale.”
