We have submitted an outline planning application for up to 69 new homes in the village of Greens Norton, South Northamptonshire.
Accessed from Blakesley Hill, the proposal will include bungalows, apartments, a range of family homes, and attractive public open spaces with children’s play areas. In line with Council policy, the proposal allows for a 50% affordable housing provision and also looks to bolster the frequency of the popular No. 87 bus service to Northampton and Towcester.
The seven-acre site has an excellent location within walking distance from schools and shops, with public transport, road and rail links also within easy reach. Greens Norton also benefits from superfast broadband, ideal for those who want to work from home.
Angela Smedley, Fisher German, acting on behalf of Richborough Estates said: “Greens Norton benefits from an array of services and its close proximity to Towcester and easy accessibility to Northampton make it an ideal location for a range of much needed homes in South Northamptonshire.
“Working closely with Turley Design, we have been careful to ensure that the design of the proposal is appropriate for the location and our application has been shaped through consultation with the local community and statutory consultees.”
Steve Louth (Regional Director), Richborough Estates said “Greens Norton is a fantastic location and we are delighted to have submitted our planning application. As a business, we are looking to make a number of planning applications and new acquisitions throughout the country before the end of the year and we have been really encouraged by the robustness of the housing market generally”.
