Our housebuilder partner, Bellway Homes, is reporting successful sales at our site near Tamworth, despite the challenges of the past few months.
Cornfields is an attractive countryside collection of 98 two, three and four-bedroom homes off Barn End Road in Warton.
Covid-19 caused both the construction site and sales office to temporarily close, yet the development has proved so popular that nearly a third of the homes have sold.
Tom Cass, Land Manager at Bellway Homes, said: “We launched Cornfields in late 2019 and despite the interruptions caused by the pandemic, the homes have sold really well.
“We put this down to the fantastic village location, with links to Nottingham, Birmingham and Burton making it ideal for commuters.
“The collection of semi-detached and detached homes in a range of styles are also proving popular with a variety of buyers, including first-time buyers, commuters and families.”
Bellway Homes became our development partner for the 11-acre site in 2018, after we promoted it through the planning process for the landowner, and secured planning permission within just 12 months.
