Congratulations to our senior land and planning manager Joe Jones, who has completed his Master’s Degree in Planning Built Environments.
Delivered by Birmingham City University, students on the course learn how to identify and evaluate the processes, tools and outcomes of planning that lead to more sustainable places across the built environment.
Joe is using his newly – acquired knowledge to ensure positive planning outcomes for Richborough Estates’ portfolio of sites.
Joe explained: “The course has taught me how to critically assess planning theory and practice, to address planning and development challenges within their environmental context.
“I’ve now also got a better understanding of alternative perspectives of the development process and the wider linkages with other built environment professions.”
Joe also has an undergraduate degree in Planning and Development from Nottingham Trent University.
