Our development partner Crest Nicholson is half way through construction on its Harborne Manor development in Aylesbury Vale – and reporting that 60 per cent of the homes have already sold.
The development, on the edge of Aylesbury, is a collection of traditional style 2,3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes including 38 affordable properties.
The housebuilder says the development’s popularity is down to its great location – with a supermarket, gym, swimming pool and Stoke Mandeville Hospital all within walking distance. Train travel from Stoke Mandeville station to London takes around an hour.
Buyers have also been keen to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday and the Help to Buy scheme.
Alongside property consultancy Strutt & Parker we appointed Crest Nicholson as our development partner for the 14 acre site in 2018, just months after we secured outline planning permission from Aylesbury Vale District Council.
