We have exchanged a Promotion Agreement on a 23 acre parcel of land in Shepshed, Leicestershire and simultaneously submitted an outline planning application for up to 200 new homes, including 30% affordable housing.
Located to the west of Ingleberry Road, the scheme benefits from a draft allocation in the emerging Local Plan for Charnwood Borough Council.
It includes substantial green infrastructure to respond to the National Forest context, including a central green corridor, reinstated hedgerows, new planting, open space including new formal children’s play space and a community orchard.
Led by our Design Director Charlotte Lewis, the scheme was designed following engagement with officers, the local community and the Town Council.
We look forward to providing further updates in early 2021 as the application progresses.
A big thank you to Jenny Keen of Marrons Planning, Ben Williams of Nineteen47 for coordinating the submission, and Rachael Waugh of Gateley for concluding the Promotion Agreement.
