This Christmas we‘re delighted to support youth homelessness charity St Basils, in our home city of Birmingham.
Each year the charity helps around 5,000, 16-25 year olds in the West Midlands who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
It provides vital support services including help accessing secure accommodation, family mediation and life skills, budgeting and employment.
Around 1,500 young people are housed in St. Basil’s 34 supported accommodation schemes per year.
Our donation is in support of St. Basil’s Christmas appeal, which is raising money for good quality accommodation, as well as the provision of a life skills and employability programmes.
The lack of safe, affordable housing is a key factor in youth homelessness. As a responsible land promoter with the potential to deliver 30,000 new homes across the country, this is a cause that we are dedicated to.
