Landowner feedback

We have received some glowing feedback from our landowner client, The Sir John Sedley Educational Foundation.

It comes after our Western Division secured the sale of the charity’s land in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire to housebuilder Bloor Homes.

Our team spent eight years promoting the site through the planning process to achieve this excellent result.

Phil Gaskell, Chair of the Foundation, said:

“Through difficult times, with issues caused by the original planning inspector, the Borough Council, not to mention the Covid crisis, Richborough have kept us updated at all times and ultimately worked to achieve a successful and pleasing conclusion.”

Established in 1637, The Sir John Sedley Educational Foundation assists young people, up to the age of 25, with financial support to help with educational development.

The funds from the sale will secure the Trust’s long term future, as well as help support young people and fund projects in local schools and organisations.
