We’re delighted to have entered into a Promotion Agreement to promote land at Cumberhills Road in the attractive village of Duffield, Derbyshire.
Prior to the local elections in 2019, the site was identified for 175 dwellings by Amber Valley District Council in the Submission Version of the Local Plan.
That particular plan was withdrawn when the Labour party gained control of the Council, however, the Conservatives have now regained control and announced their intention to commence the preparation of a new Local Plan.
On our behalf, Fisher German will engage with the plan making process reemphasising Duffield’s superior economic, retail and educational provision such as Ecclesbourne School. The village also benefits from excellent public transport connectivity and is close to Derby City where much of the housing need arises.
