Land promotion summer placement

We were delighted to welcome Joe Hadlington and Daniel Bowden on our summer placement scheme.

Graduate Joe and A Level student Daniel got insight into all aspects of land promotion as well as hands-on work experience, while growing their contacts.

Working closely with our team they conducted land searches and due diligence, attended meetings with local authorities, parish councils and consultants, and visited live sites with our development partners.

The perfect profession

Joe said: “I got a real taste of the variety of the role and it seems like the perfect profession for me! No two sites are the same meaning lots of problem solving is required. There’s plenty of human contact and the work ultimately culminates in new homes for so many, so I know I’m making a positive contribution.”

Richborough Estates Chief Executive Paul Campbell added: “We’re committed to developing future talent and it has been a pleasure to provide Joe and Daniel and with crucial experience. We wish them the very best for the future.”

Joe is starting a MSc in Housing and City Planning at University College London in September while Daniel will return to his final year of A Levels and choose a degree course.
