Richborough Estates enters landowner agreement in Leicestershire

We have entered into another planning promotion agreement – this time for land at Midland Road, Ellistown. The site is located in North West Leicestershire and is capable of delivering in the region of 150 to 200 new homes, including affordable housing, as well as employment provision.

We look forward to engaging with key stakeholders to promote this 53-acre site through the forthcoming North West Leicestershire Local Plan review to assist in the delivery of new homes and employment land in a sustainable growth location.

Thanks to our landowner, their agent Martin Sansom at Sansom Hamilton & Co and our legal team Freeths LLP, in particular Mitchell Ball and Laura Cope, who have worked hard to complete this deal during the circumstances we have found ourselves in over recent months.

This site is an excellent addition to the East Region and demonstrates Richborough’s continued investment and growth of our portfolio. It is also Briony Stenhouse’s first planning promotion agreement that she has signed up for Richborough.
