Land promoter Richborough Estates partners with homeless charity St Basils
We’re delighted to be partnering with Birmingham-based homelessness charity St Basils thoughout 2022. All our fundraising efforts will be in aid of this incredible charity which annually supports over 4,000 young people across the West Midlands who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Our pledge to St Basils
During 2022 we’ll donate £5 to St Basils for every new home that we secure planning permission on. Each £5 funds a day’s stay for a young person at one of the charity’s 42 locations across the West Midlands. We’ll also be taking part in St Basils’ brilliant programme of fundraising events throughout the year.

This year looks set to be our busiest yet and we expect to raise thousands of pounds through our £5 planning permission pledge as well as other fundraising activities.

About St Basils
St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 4000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest, Coventry and Warwickshire.
Every year hundreds of young people are housed in their 42 supported accommodation schemes, which for some includes their young children as well. The charity has a range of prevention, accommodation, and support services to help young people regain the stability they need to rebuild their lives, gain skills, training and employment and move on.
The aim is to help them successfully break the cycle of homelessness so that they can go on to experience a bright, fulfilling future and never return to a state where they are at risk of homelessness again. St Basils needs to raise £1.2 million per year to maintain its programme of support for young people.
