Land promoter Richborough Estates launches South West region

We have launched a new South West region, which will be led by newly-appointed regional director Alex Anderson.

Alex, a chartered town planner, has joined from investment and asset management firm Land Value Alliances and previously worked at housebuilder Taylor Wimpey and development consultancy Pegasus Group.

In his new role, Bristol-based Alex is responsible for driving activity in the South West. This includes identifying residential and mixed-use sites in sustainable locations, securing planning consent and marketing them to development partners.

The expansion is part of growth strategy for Richborough Estates which is active on more than 100 sites across the UK, with teams in the North, Midlands, Central, East and South East regions.

Jonathan Bloor, Managing Director of Richborough Estates’ Western Division, said: “As across much of the country, demand for new homes in the South West is outstripping supply.

“Under the direction of Alex, this new region will be able to plug that gap by providing high quality, build ready land for developers to accelerate the delivery of new homes and places.
