Land promoter Richborough Estates submits planning application in Newbold Verdon

We have submitted an outline planning application for land off Brascote Lane in Newbold Verdon, Leicestershire.

We’re proposing 239 new homes, including a mix of market and affordable housing, plus significant open space provision, children’s play areas and car parking provision for existing allotments. Our proposals also look to integrate the existing Windmill Inn with our scheme with a Windmill Green open space and extensions to the beer garden and car park.

We successfully promoted the site to the emerging Local Plan for Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, in which the site now benefits from a draft allocation. A public consultation event in February 2022 helped shape our plans and we are keen to work with the Borough Council whilst the application is being determined.
