Land promoter Richborough Estates appoints new land and planning manager
We’re thrilled to have appointed Rhys Tupper as land and planning manager for our fast growing South East region.
Rhys was previously an assistant planner at Gladman Developments and is studying for a MSc Urban Planning RTPI Degree Apprenticeship.
He joins South East director Nick Banks at Richborough’s London office and will focus on identifying sustainable residential development sites and taking them through the planning process to secure outline consent before selling to development partners.
Nick said: “Our South Eastern portfolio continues to expand and we are committed to having the best possible personnel in place to resource our site promotions, planning applications and disposals.
“I’m delighted to welcome Rhys to the South East team as he brings considerable direct experience in site sourcing and project management and has an excellent working knowledge of the planning dynamics across our region.”
Rhys added: “I was attracted to this role because of Richborough Estates’ fantastic reputation across the industry, coupled with the opportunity to take my knowledge and experience to the next level in a region I am passionate about.
“Growing up in the South East, I know first-hand the challenges first time buyers have in a market that is increasingly unaffordable due to a lack of available housing supply and Richborough provides me the opportunity to drive sustainable development. I encourage anyone with land promotion opportunities to get in touch.”
Richborough Estates’ South East region includes Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, East Sussex and Greater London (please see the map in the downloads section below)
