We are devastated to announce the sudden death of Steve Louth, Regional Director of our East region.
Steve passed away at his home on the morning of Sunday 8 May, aged just 40. He leaves behind his young son Thomas, his wife Zoe and wider family. We would like to offer our condolences to all his family and friends at this very sad time.
Steve was a Chartered Town Planner and joined Richborough Estates in 2014 after working for Richborough as a Planning Consultant at Turley Associates.
Paul Campbell, Chief Executive at Richborough Estates, said: “We are all in disbelief at Steve’s sudden passing and our thoughts are with all his loved ones and friends.
“First and foremost Steve was a dear friend to me and my colleagues. He was also a key part of Richborough Estates, overseeing many successful planning applications and generating growth for the company. Anyone that met Steve will know that he was a kind, loyal and first class operator and he always earned the trust and respect from landowners, agents, consultants, housebuilders and even competitors.
“He was also possibly one of the biggest mickey-takers I have ever met, always able to take a joke but always poised to give it back twice as hard. We shared some wonderful experiences together and he will be missed dearly”.
