Land promoter Richborough Estates has submitted an outline planning application for up to 75 new homes in the Derbyshire town of Matlock.
A mix of housing (including 30% affordable), public open space, sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS), parking provision, and areas of natural play are proposed for the 10.55-acre site south of Chesterfield Road.
The site is in a sustainable location with shops, schools and services within good walking and cycling distance and public transport stops nearby.

Briony Stenhouse, Land and Planning Manager at Richborough Estates said: “We are delighted to have submitted this planning application which has been shaped following consultation with the local authority and community.
“Our vison is a high-quality residential development that complements the surrounding area and comprises market and affordable homes that respond to the local housing need.”
