We’re very pleased to promote Joe Jones to the role of Midlands regional director.
Joe is now responsible for managing and further growing land promotion activity across the region, which includes Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
He joined Richborough Estates in 2016 as a land study manager and has worked his way up through roles including land and planning manager, senior land and planning manager and most recently regional manager. We also supported his master’s degree which he completed in 2020.
Joe said: ‘I’m delighted to be leading Richborough’s Midlands Region which has an exciting pipeline of sites to bring forward over the coming years.
“We’re very keen to continue growing the region with new opportunities where we can deliver a tailored and personable approach for clients to promote their land assets.’
Jonathan Bloor, managing director (Western), added: “The Midlands is one of our busiest and most established regions, so this is a big role. We know Joe has the commitment, skills and experience and are thrilled he is taking the helm.
“The Richborough approach is to nurture talent and promote from within and Joe is the perfect example.”
Richborough’s previous regional director for the Midlands was Nick Jones, who is now group director of our commercial division.
