Richborough Estates is delighted to welcome Ian Long BA (Hons) MSc MRTPI as planning manager for our Eastern division.
Ian’s role is to devise and implement planning strategy and manages applications and appeals for our residential and commercial projects.
He previously worked at Boyer Planning and, before then, DLP Planning. He’s also a former Chair and Committee Member of the RTPI East Midlands Young Planners.
Richard Lomas, Planning Director, said: “Ian joins Richborough during a particularly busy period and will support the planned growth of the business, following our recent investment from Terra Firma.
“His agency and planning background, particularly across the East Midlands, mean he is hitting the ground running. “
Ian added: “Having previously worked with Richborough in a planning consultancy and land agency capacity, I was aware of the proactive and professional nature of the business which ultimately attracted me to join when the opportunity arose.”
Ian supports Sheffield United and enjoys following and occasionally playing football in his spare time.
