It was a pleasure to welcome A-Level student Tom Bowden into Richborough’s Birmingham HQ for a week’s work experience.
Tom, who attends Arden School in Solihull, spent time with our land, planning, disposals, technical, and communications teams. He also sat in on meetings and went on a site visit, to gain a better understanding of its masterplan.
Tom said: “I’m studying history, PE and business A-Levels and wanted to go to Richborough for work experience because I was interested in the business aspects of land promotion.
“What I enjoyed most was learning how each section is very different in what they do but need to work together for the business to successfully promote a site. Although each department has a different role, they all have the same end goal.”
Richborough regularly welcomes work experience students to provide insight into our industry and help nurture the land promoters of the future.
