Richborough has exchanged a promotion agreement for more than 60 acres of land in Midsomer Norton, Somerset.
The site areas located to the north of Charlton Lane have the potential to deliver around 225 new homes to the area. The concept masterplan is being devised and will incorporate open space, green and blue infrastructure and biodiversity enhancements.
The site is being promoted through Bath and North East Somerset Council’s emerging Local Plan.
Alex Anderson, regional director at Richborough, said: “Huge thanks to our planning, design and technical teams who conducted extensive research to determine the potential of this site. The scheme will ultimately provide much needed, high quality family homes in a sustainable location”.
“We look forward to working with the Council and key stakeholders in the community to secure planning permission”.
Thanks to Julian Harbottle and Ben Short of Savills, on behalf of the landowner, and to Andrew Scott of Andrew Scott Land & Property for assisting Richborough in identifying this site. Plus our advisors and consultants.
