Earlier this summer, year 10 student Isobel Lees came to Richborough to undertake her school work experience placement working with our different technical and support teams.
With an interest in Geography and choosing her next steps, she tells us about her week working with our Richborough Birmingham team.
Izzy said: “”During my work experience at Richborough, I got to dive into the world of land promotion and learn about everything from marketing and research to design and evaluation. It was a super informative and useful experience that helped me understand how all the different parts of the business fit together. I’m still deciding what I want to do in the future so feel really grateful to have had the opportunity to experience so much.”
Karuna Bhatia, People Business Partner said: “At Richborough we believe work experience is hugely beneficial and we enjoy providing young people with a base and platform to experience the Richborough Way. It gives them the opportunity to explore the land promotion industry and build their confidence and employability skills. We hope that Izzy and other students find their work experience at Richborough very valuable and we look forward to them developing their career in the industry.”
