Richborough has submitted an outline planning application for a high-quality residential development in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire.
Our plans for the 17-acre site off Marlborough Road propose up to 95 homes including approximately 38 affordable properties. A range of house types and sizes are planned, to cater for local housing need.

It is set to be an attractive, landscape-led residential development, with the delivery of community benefits including new play areas and allotments, alongside a variety of open spaces with leisure routes promoting healthy lifestyles. Local facilities and transport links are within easy reach.

Other key elements include landscaping and drainage infrastructure and biodiversity enhancements.

Alex Anderson, Regional Director at Richborough, said “We are very pleased to submit this planning application on behalf of our landowner. The masterplan has been shaped following extensive assessment by our design and technical teams, in addition to a public consultation exercise.
“We look forward to working with Wiltshire Council and its consultees to secure a positive outcome for the planning application and look forward to marketing the site next year.”
