Congratulations to Harry Jackson, who has been promoted to Regional Director for our growing North region!
Harry leads our land promotion activity across the region, which takes in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds and all of the surrounding areas of the North West, Yorkshire and North East.
His promotion comes following his role in securing a string of quality acquisitions and key site sales including the disposal of a 19-acre mixed-use development in Market Weighton, East Riding of Yorkshire to Danum Homes in November.
Harry is a prime example of how Richborough nurtures talent. He joined the company in 2016 as an Assistant Land and Planning Manager and has worked his way up through positions including Land and Planning Manager and most recently Regional Manager.
Jonathan Bloor, Managing Director for Richborough’s Western Division, said: “This is a well-deserved promotion for Harry, recognising his experience and continued commitment to building the North region.
“It also comes at a very exciting time as we ramp up activity in the North following the government’s recent announcement of increased housing targets for local authorities under its NPPF reforms.
“Our existing portfolio of sites has the potential to deliver more than over 7,000 high quality new market and affordable homes for the region and we are actively looking for more new development opportunities.”
Harry added: “I’m thrilled to be taking the helm in the region and excited to drive its growth. Working with our industry leading internal team, I’ll be bringing forward more well designed, build-ready masterplans that will deliver high quality homes and mixed-use developments while securing best value for our landowners and stakeholders.
“Richborough is going through an exciting time of expansion and change in all areas, and I’m proud to be part of its journey.”
