We did it! We’re thrilled to announce that on 10-11 July 2025, more than 20 Richborians summitted Britain’s three highest peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon – in aid of St Basils. Walking through fog, drizzle and soaring temperatures as well as fatigue, terrain and time, the team tackled approximately 22 miles of intense hiking (9, 6 and 7 miles respectively) and raised over £30,000, smashing our target. See more here.
Thanks to the generosity of our network and the sheer grit of the team, part of the funding will go towards an outdoor adventure trip in Coniston for young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk – offering experiences in climbing, swimming, abseiling, team-building and more.
Catherine Martin, Communications Director at Richborough, said:
“This was one of the toughest challenges any of us has undertaken, but also one of the most rewarding. To see the funds raised, the support from everyone and knowing it will contribute to life-changing experiences for young people, that makes every step more than worth it.”
Congratulations to all who donated – it will make a huge difference!
And thanks to Elite Adventures for getting us over the finish line.
