We’re pleased to share that a planning application has been submitted for a 24-acre site in Ringmer which, if approved, will provide a new gateway into the village.
The scheme proposes up to 180 high-quality new homes, designed to respond to the area’s growing need for both affordable and market housing.
At the heart of the application is a commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design, retaining and integrating existing landscape features while creating new spaces that foster community, wellbeing and environmental responsibility.
A proposed village green and play areas for all ages will provide opportunities for leisure and connection, while green infrastructure and active travel routes will encourage healthier lifestyles and stronger community links.
If approved, this development will play an important role in supporting Lewes District’s housing delivery pipeline, creating a place that is both resilient and welcoming for future generations.
