We have secured planning consent and confirmed Bromford as development partner for a new 17.3-acre residential scheme in Wychbold, Wychavon.
Bromford will now progress the ‘Crown Lane’ site, which will deliver up to 128 affordable homes, providing a meaningful boost to local housing supply.
Planning permission was granted at appeal in October following an extended determination period with Wychavon District Council. Working with external planning consultants RPS, Richborough successfully demonstrated that the proposals represent a sensitively planned edge-of-village extension, consistent with local character and capable of meeting identified housing need as part of the South Worcestershire Development Plan, which remains under review.
Located close to Droitwich, Worcester and under 30 miles from Birmingham, the site benefits from strong connectivity via junction 5 of the M5. The development will incorporate a substantial green buffer, including hedgerows, native planting and landscaped open space, alongside improved pedestrian links via Crown Lane, enhancing walkable access into the village.
