Richborough has appointed Charlie Scattergood as Assistant Technical Coordinator, further strengthening its in-house technical capability as the business continues to grow its land portfolio for commercial and residential-led developments.
Charlie joins the team with a well-rounded background spanning both design and the residential property sector. She previously worked at James Oliver Properties, giving her valuable insight into the priorities and expectations of homeowners. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design from the University of Portsmouth.
In her new role, Charlie will support the Technical team across a range of projects, helping to coordinate design development, manage technical information relating to site opportunities and constraints and ensure schemes are deliverable for both planning requirements and market needs.
Richborough’s Technical team plays a key role in shaping sites from early-stage promotion through to the sale of our sites to our development delivery partners. Working closely with planning, design and external consultant teams, they are responsible for translating vision into viable developments – overseeing everything from masterplanning input and infrastructure strategy to detailed engineering, design coordination and technical approvals.
Charlie Scattergood said: “I’m excited for the opportunity to gain experience in the technical aspects of land promotion, supporting the team and contributing to schemes as I learn a new discipline within property and design.”
Stuart Nelmes, Technical Director at Richborough Estates, added: “We’re pleased to welcome Charlie to the team. Her design background will be a great asset to our team as we continue to strengthen our technical capability.”
