We’re excited to part in St Basils’ fundraising Hike for Homeless – which this year is at the historic Kinver Edge and Wyre Forest!
Richbronians Marc Wilson, Briony Stenhouse, Matty Bower, Charlotte Lewis, Kharam Choongh, Ethan Swift, Faith Byrne, Tom Ball, Richard Lomas, Catherine Martin, and Nick Jones and Lewis Godsmark of Richborough Commercial, will be putting their best foot forward on Saturday 20th June 2026.
Marc is braving the long challenge – 24.5 miles – while the rest are going for the more leisurely 7.5 mile option!!
All money raised will fund St Basils’ life-changing work to support young people aged 16-25. The Birmingham-based charity provides secure safe accommodation and helps them move forward into education, training and employment, giving them the support they need not just to survive, but to thrive.
Barrie Hodge, Head of Fundraising and Communications at St Basils, said: “Too many young people are trapped in hidden homelessness. Some are working full-time, doing everything they can to move forward, but still cannot afford a place of their own. They may be sofa surfing, staying in unsafe situations or even sleeping in their car because rents are so high and affordable housing is so hard to find.
“Hike for Homeless is a fantastic opportunity for businesses across the Midlands to bring their teams together, support staff wellbeing and make a genuine difference.”
