The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission is refused for the development of up to 140 residential dwellings (including up to 33% affordable housing) a convenience store (use class A1, up to 400sqm gross/280sqm net) with associated car parking. Demolition of existing structures, introduction of structural planting and landscaping, informal public open space and children’s play area, surface water flood mitigation and attenuation, vehicular access from Ipswich Road and emergency, pedestrian and cycle access from Top Street, and associated ancillary works on land off Dukes Park, Woodbridge, Suffolk. The application Ref: DC/16/3597/OUT, dated 26 August 2016, was refused by notice dated 20 December 2016. The appeal is made by Gladman Developments Ltd against the decision of Suffolk Coastal District Council.
