The proposed development of the ‘erection of 67no. dwellings, single anddouble garages, new vehicular access, associated parking and landscaping (demolitionof 121 Dover Road) amended details and plans received relating to car parking)’ has been refused. The application Ref DOV/17/00280 dated 8th March 2018 was refused by notice dated 9 November 2017.
The appeal is made by Ms K Putnam of Westerhill Homes against the decision of Dover District Council.
The main issues are:
The effect of the proposed development on the character and appearance of the area; and
Whether the proposal would provide an acceptable mix of housing; including the provision of affordable housing.
