The proposed development is demolition of all existing buildings and structures on site and erection of 35 dwellings together with associated infrastructure, open space, landscaping and access works has been dismissed.
The application Ref 18/504110/FULL, dated 2 August 2018, was refused by notice dated 1 February 2019.
The appeal is made by Mr Martin Hill (McCulloch Homes) against the decision of Swale Borough Council.
The main issues are the effect of the proposal on the character and appearance of the area, whether the site is a suitable location for housing having regard to local and national policy & whether or not the proposal would make adequate provision for affordable housing.
