The proposed development of the erection of up to 50 dwellings and associated works has been dismissed.
The main issues in this case are:
•Whether the proposal would provide a suitable location for housing,having regard to local and national policy and guidance;
•The effect of the proposal on the character and appearance of the area,including landscape impact, the effect on the setting of the locally listed building at 155 Maplewell Road; and the effect on the Woodhouse Eaves Conservation Area (the WECA).
