The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for up to 300 dwellings (including affordable housing) including provision for structural planting and landscaping; informal public open space; children’s play areas; sustainable drainage system; a new vehicular access from St Mary’s Road; and associated ancillary works at land off St Mary’s Road, Hayling Island in accordance with the terms of the application reference APP/21/01434 subject to the conditions.
