The proposed development of the residential development of up to 56 dwellings has been dismissed.
The main issues being, whether or not the proposal accords with planning policies for the location of housing development. Whether access to the development can be achieved for vehicles and pedestrians, without detriment to highway safety on Station Road.
Also the effect of the proposed development on the character and appearance of the area and in light of the findings on the above matters and the housing land supply position of the council, whether the proposal would constitute a sustainable form of development.
