The development proposed described as ‘the development of 19 homes, landscaping, revised vehicular access, sustainable drainage and amenity space on the site at the former Dengie Garden Centre including the change of use from Sui Generis to dwellinghouses. The development includes the removal of the buildings and greenhouse structures and the development of high quality sustainable housing comprising of 8 affordable homes and 11 houses for private ownership’ has been dismissed.
The appeal is made by Mr Ewan Cresswell (Mayflower Development and Estates Ltd) against the decision of Maldon District Council.
The application Ref FUL/MAL/20/00054, dated 21 February 2020, was refused by notice dated 22 May 2020.
