The development proposed a construction of 40 residential properties with associated access, landscaping and ancillary works has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Mr Mark Sexton (Wiggett Construction Ltd) against the decision of Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council.

The application Ref FUL/347294/21, dated 14 July 2021, was refused by notice dated 12 July 2022.

The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for erection of up to 19 Affordable Homes with associated access, parking and landscaping at Land at Cambridge Road, Stretham, CB6 3LW in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref 22/00180/OUM, dated 14 February 2022, and the plans submitted with it, subject to the conditions.

The development proposed a demolition of existing dwellings and erection of 20 flats within two blocks with associated car parking and landscaping has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Mr David Mumford (Rushmon Homes Ltd) against Epsom and Ewell Borough Council.

The application Ref 21/01406/FUL, is dated 24 August 2021.

The appeal is allowed, and planning permission is granted for a residential development of up to 100 dwellings and associated infrastructure at Land off Pendragon Road, Exeter, Devon, in accordance with the terms of the application Ref 21/0020/OUT, dated 17 December 2020, subject to the conditions.

The development proposed a demolition of the existing house and outbuildings, erection of 34 dwellings, access and internal roads, parking, ancillary structures, landscaping, drainage and other associated works has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Whitehall Homes LLP against the decision of Wealden District Council.

The application Ref WD/2021/2458/MAJ, dated 16 September 2021, was refused by notice dated 7 December 2022.

The development proposed for outline planning permission for the erection of up to 35no dwellings, allotments and associated access, parking, drainage infrastructure and landscaping, with new access off Weston Road for approval and appearance, layout, scale and landscaping reserved for subsequent approval has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Long Ashton Land Company against the decision of North Somerset Council (the Council or Local Planning Authority, LPA).

The application Ref 21/P/3076/OUT, dated 4 November 2021, was refused by notice dated 5 August 2022.

Appeal A is allowed and planning permission is granted for the erection of up to 132 dwellings and associated infrastructure on land east of Broad Road, Nutbourne, in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref CH/20/03320/OUTEIA, dated 17 December 2020, and the plans submitted with it. This is subject to the conditions.

Appeal B is allowed and planning permission is granted for the erection of up to 68 dwellings and associated infrastructure on land west of Drift Lane, Chidham, in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref CH/20/03321/OUTEIA, dated 17 December 2020, and the plans submitted with it. This is subject to the conditions.

The development proposed for an outline planning application with all matters reserved except for the primary means of access for the development of up to 31 no residential dwellings has been dismissed.

The site is located within the administrative area of Uttlesford District Council.

The application dated 21 April 2023 is made by Luxus Homes Stoney Common Limited (Applicant).

The development proposed for the construction of a residential development comprising of 95 units, together with open space, car parking and landscaping has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Mr and Mrs P Heaney against the decision of Epping Forest District Council.

The application Ref EPF/2627/20, dated 12 November 2020, was refused by notice dated 23 September 2022.

The Inspector recommended that the appeal be allowed and planning permission granted, subject to conditions. For the reasons given below, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s
conclusions, except where stated, and agrees with his recommendation. He has decided to allow the appeal and grant planning permission, subject to the conditions set out in Annex B of this letter.
