Appeal A is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for the erection of up to 85 dwellings with associated access and external works, following the demolition of the existing Basingstoke Town FC stand and terraces at Basingstoke Town Football Club, The Camrose Ground, Western Way, Basingstoke RG22 6EZ in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref 19/01110/OUT, dated 15 April 2019 subject to the conditions.

Appeal B is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for the erection of a 70 Bedroom Care Home and 6 dwellings with associated access and external works, following the demolition of the existing Coral Bookmakers and part of the existing Basingstoke Town FC Clubhouse at Basingstoke Town Football Club, The Camrose Ground, Western Way, Basingstoke RG22 6EZ in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref 19/02889/OUT, dated 8 October 2019, subject to the conditions.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for the erection of 14 residential dwelling houses on land adjacent to ‘Fairacres’, 76 Church Lane, Braintree, Essex CM7 5SD, in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref 19/02207/FUL, dated 4 November 2019, subject to the conditions.

The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for the development of up to 75 dwellings with associated access and highway works, drainage and attenuation, open space, play area and landscaping (access to be determined, all other matters reserved) in accordance with the terms of application, ref 2021/0157/OTS, dated 19 January 2021, subject to the conditions.

The development proposed for the erection of 233 dwellings, reconfiguration of golf course, demolition of existing club house and associated buildings and the erection of new club house and green keepers store, creation of new vehicular accesses, roads, car parking, green footpath link and ancillary development has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Anwyl Homes Lancashire and Widnes Golf Club against Halton Borough Council.

The application Ref 21/00471/FUL, is dated 29 July 2021.

The development proposed for the erection of 73 dwellings with associated vehicular and pedestrian access from Ash Green Road, parking and secure cycle storage, onsite open space, landscape and ecology management and  servicing has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Bewley Homes Plc against Guildford Borough Council.

The application Ref 20/P/01461, is dated 26 August 2020.

The Inspector recommended that the appeal be allowed, and planning permission granted subject to conditions.

For the reasons given below, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s conclusions, except where stated, and agrees with her recommendation. He has decided to allow the appeal and grant planning permission.

The proposal is for outline planning permission, with all matters of detail reserved except for access for up to 1,000 new homes; 80 extra care housing units (Use Class C3) as part of the affordable housing provision; a new 2 form entry primary school (D1); expansion land for Park House Academy School; a local centre to comprise flexible commercial floorspace (A1-A5 up to 2,150 sq m, B1a up to 200 sq m) and D1 use (up to 500sq m); the formation of new means of access onto Monks Lane; new open space including the laying out of a new country park; drainage infrastructure; walking and cycling infrastructure and other associated infrastructure works. Summary of Recommendation: The appeal be allowed, and planning permission granted subject to conditions.

The development proposed for the construction of up to 171 dwellings, community hub and associated parking, school drop off/pick up car parking area, construction of new access from the B6532, provision of a ‘SuDS’ pond, associated infrastructure, and landscaping has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Mr Stuart Smith against the decision of Durham County Council.

The application Ref DM20/01910/OUT, dated 16 July 2020, was refused by notice dated 4 May 2021.

The appeal is allowed, and planning permission is granted for the erection of 31 affordable dwellings and associated works including access and landscaping at land off Cherryholt Road, Stamford PE9 2EP in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref S19/1475, dated 7 August 2019, subject to the conditions.

The development proposed for the demolition of 137 and 139 High Street, and the erection of 112 dwellings (Use Class C3), new vehicular and pedestrian access off High Street, public open space, sustainable drainage systems and ancillary infrastructure has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by J S Bloor (Northampton) Limited against the decision of Central Bedfordshire Council.

The application Ref CB/20/02789/FULL, dated 31 July 2020, was refused by notice dated 25 November 2020.

The development proposed for the development of a retirement care village in use class C2 comprising housing with care, communal health, wellbeing and leisure facilities; and use class C3 affordable dwellings (compromising up to 30% on-site provision), public open space, play provision, landscaping, car parking, access and associated development has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Axis Land Partnerships Limited on behalf of Bottisham Farming Limited against the decision of East Cambridgeshire District Council.

The application Ref 20/00296/OUM, dated 17 February 2020, was refused by decision notice dated 5 March 2021.
