The proposed development of outline application for the erection of circa 50 dwellings (Use Class C3) means of access to be determined only has been dismissed. 

The main issues are:
(i)the effect of the development on highway safety;
(ii)whether the site is in an appropriate location in terms of accessibility to services and facilities with particular regard to the characteristics of the pedestrian access route;
(iii) the effect on off-site flood risk with particular regard to the adequacy of the proposed surface water drainage mechanisms;
(iv) whether the proposal makes appropriate provision for affordable housing, primary education provision and public open space including children’s play; and
(v) whether there are any other material considerations that might indicate a decision other than in accordance with the development plan. 

The proposed development of outline application for a residential development comprising up to 100 dwellings with associated access, open space, landscaping and infrastructure improvements has been dismissed. 

the main issues are:
1) The effect of the proposal on the landscape character of Grantham;
2) The effect of the proposal on the setting of a number of designated heritage assets; and
3) Whether any harm in relation to issues 1) and 2) and any conflict with the de-velopment plan is outweighed by other material considerations.

The proposed development of residential development of up to 65 dwellings including means of access has been dismissed. 

The main issues of the appeal are:
• The effect of the proposal on the character and appearance of the area;
and
• Whether the proposed footpath would result in actual or perceived
opportunities for antisocial behaviour.

The development proposed is the demolition of existing hotel. Construction of new mixed use development, including 20 bed hotel with spa, restaurant & bar areas and holiday apartments. Separate apartment building with 12 apartments and commercial /retail space on ground floor. 20 houses with 4 detached, 4 semi-detached and 12 affordable terraced houses has been dismissed.

The main issues are (i) whether the proposal would be in a suitable location for housing with regard to the Coastal Zone; (ii) the effect on the character and appearance of the area concerning the proposed hotel building; and (iii) the effect of the proposed dwellings on the living conditions of the occupiers of the neighbouring dwellings by way of outlook and on its future occupiers in relation to noise and disturbance.

The proposed development described as the demolition of offices and erection of new passive development of 33 flats with underground parking has been dismissed.

main issues are: –
• Whether the proposal is inappropriate development in the Green Belt for
the purposes of the Framework and the development plan, including the
effect on the openness of the Green Belt;
• Whether or not the development proposed makes appropriate provision
for affordable housing, with reference to the relevant provisions of local
and national planning policy;
• If the development would be inappropriate development, whether the
harm by reason of inappropriateness, and any other harm, is clearly
outweighed by other considerations, so as to amount to the very special
circumstances necessary to justify the development. 

The proposed development described as the demolition of ‘The Copse. Construction of 15 dwellings, access, garages and car parking has been dismissed. 

The main issues are:
•whether the location of the proposed development would be consistent with the strategy for development set out within the Horsham District Planning Framework, or if there are any material circumstances sufficient to override any conflict with policy; and
•whether or not the proposed development would make adequate provision for affordable housing.

The proposed development described as demolition of an existing house and outbuildings and erection of 22 dwellings with associated access and parking provision has been dismissed.

The appeal is made by Toby Tarrant-Willis against the decision of Peterborough City Council.
The application Ref: 18/01178/FUL dated 29 June 2018, was refused by notice dated 15 October 2018.

The development proposed is the outline application for up to 19 dwellings with all matters reserved with the exception of access on Land adjacent to The Orchard,Benson. 

The main issues of the appeal are:
• Whether the proposal would provide a suitable site for development that is
well integrated to the village of Benson, having regard to its location within a
housing allocation identified in the Benson Neighbourhood Plan (NP) and the
provisions of Policy NP4; and
• The effect of the proposal on the provision of best and most versatile
agricultural land (BMV). 

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for up to 48 dwellings(comprising up to 14 affordable dwellings and up to 34 market dwellings), up to 64 bedroom care home (C2 Use), publicly accessible open space(including children’s play area), attenuation pond, and creation of vehicular access, with the demolition of two dwellings at land at Churchfield Farm,Sholden, Deal, Kent CT14 0AL in accordance with the terms of the application,Ref DOV/17/01345, dated 4 November 2017 subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule attached to this decision. 

For the following reasons the appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for the erection of up to 25 dwellings, provision of open space and land for a new burial ground on land at Crabtree Farm, Hinckley Road, Barwell, Leicsin accordance with the terms of the application, No 18/00279/OUT, dated 15 March 2018, subject to the conditions set out in the attached schedule.
