The Council as planning authority have decided to refuse planning permission in principle in respect of Proposed residential development with associated infrastructure and engineering works. at: Tower Farm, Back O Hill Road, Torrance, East Dumbartonshire. The appeal is made by Hallam Land Managament against East Dumbartonshire Council.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for 40 residential dwellings across two sites comprising: 6, two storey houses and 27 apartments in 3 and 4 storey blocks, 47 car parking spaces and associated landscaping including the retention of part of the bund and provision of play area on part of the hotel car park and other surplus space (Site 1); and 7, two storey houses served by 14 car parking spaces and associated  landscaping on part of hotel staff car park and underutilised part of golf course (Site 2); New pedestrian access off Crafts Way and children’s play area along with associated landscaping on land between Sites 1 and 2 at Hallmark Hotel, Land south of Huntingdon Road, Bar Hill, Cambridgeshire, CB23 8EU in accordance with the terms of the application Ref: S/0851/16/FL dated 23 March, 2016 subject to the conditions in the attached schedule. The appeal is made by Hallmark Hotels (Bar Hill) Limited against the decision of South Cambridgeshire District Council.

The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for 72 dwellings, the laying out of internal roads and associated infrastructure pursuant to outline approval 15/99/1897/AW on Phase3 Navigation Point, Cinder Lane, Castleford. The application Ref 14/02352/SUB02, dated 4 May 2016, sought approval of details pursuant to condition No 04 of a planning permission Ref 14/02352/REM, granted on14 April 2015. The appeal is made by Mr J Gladwyn (Greenhaven Homes Ltd) against the decision ofCity of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council.

The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission is refused for development of 17 dwellings, with 40%being affordables, totalling 7 affordables and 10 open market on land at Primrose Hill, Dalton, North Yorkshire.The application Ref 16/00480/OUT, dated 25 February 2016, was refused by notice dated 9 May 2016. The appeal is made by Mr David Holmes (dh Land Strategy) against the decision of Hambleton District Council

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for the erection of 30 dwellings, garages and associated works on land adjacent 90 Bretforton Road,Badsey, Evesham WR11 7XQ in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref W/16/00953/PN, dated 7 April 2016, subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule attached to this decision. The application Ref W/16/00953/PN, dated 7 April 2016, was refused by notice dated 29 September 2016. The appeal is made by JBRT Developments against the decision of Wychavon District Council

The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission has been refused for the construction of 22 affordable residential units with new footway and means of access on land north of Turners Hill Road, Turners Hill. The application Ref DM/16/1887, dated 29 April 2016, was refused by notice dated 24 August 2016. The appeal is made by Hartmires Investments Ltd against the decision of Mid Sussex District Council.

The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission has been allowed for the  development of up to 146 dwellings with associated infrastructure and open space provision on land north of Moorfields, Willaston, Crewe, in accordance with the terms of application No 14/03365, dated 17 January 2014,subject to the conditions set out in the attached schedule.The appeal is made by Richborough Estates against Cheshire East Council.

The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission is refused for the erection of 11 chalets/bungalows, together with associated access and extensive local drainage on Lower Brook, London Road, Sayers Common, West Sussex. The application Ref DM/16/1458, dated 4 April 2016, was refused by notice dated 6 July 2016. The appeal is made by Sevenbuild Ltd against the decision of Mid Sussex District Council.

The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission is refused for the erection of up to 37 dwellings with access on Soulton Road, Wem, Shropshire. The application Ref 15/03710/OUT, dated 26 August 2015, was refused by notice dated7 December 2015. The appeal is made by Mr Marcus Marsh (AFM Farming LLP) against the decision ofShropshire Council.
