Appeal B is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for the erection of 9 No. dwellings (outline – all matters reserved) at Land East of New Road, Weston Turville, Buckinghamshire HP22 5RA in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref 14/03627/AOP, dated 10 December 2014 and plan No 14-03/201 L, subject to the conditions set out in the attached schedule. The appeal is made by London & Slough Properties Ltd against the decision of Aylesbury Vale District Council.

The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission is refused for the erection of a four storey apartment block, cycle storage and all ancillary works at Land adjacent to 1-3 Ashburnham Road, Bedford, Bedfordshire MK40 1DX. The application Ref 14/02789/MAO, dated 10 November 2014, was refused by notice dated 26 March 2015. The appeal is made by Mr James Gill against the decision of Bedford Borough Council.

Accordingly, for the reasons given above, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s recommendation. He hereby allows your client’s appeal and grants outline planning permission for the creation of up to 650 residential dwellings, up to 2,500m2 of Use Class A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and D1 floorspace, together with highways works, landscaping, public realm, car parking and other associated works on land east of A47, West Roundhouse Way and North of A11; and land to the south of A11 to the east of A47 and west of Cringleford, Norfolk, in accordance with application ref 2013/1494/O, dated 7 August 2013.

The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission is refused for the erection of up to 125 dwellings at Longden Road, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The application Ref 14/01983/OUT, dated 30 April 2014, was refused by notice dated 18 December 2014. The appeal is made by Morris Homes (Midlands) Limited against the decision of Shropshire Council.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for the development of 93 two storey residential dwellings with access and car parking on land off High Street, Riddings, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 4BJ in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref AVA/2014/0553, dated 17 June 2014, subject to the conditions in the schedule at the end of this decision. The appeal is made by Riddings Developments Limited against the decision of Amber Valley Borough Council.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for development described as “development of up to 100 dwellings including the provision of access following the demolition of 15 Willow Drive” on land at Willow Drive, Wrea Green, Preston, Lancashire PR4 2NT in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref 14/0302, dated 16 April 2014, subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule appended to this decision. The appeal is made by Story Homes Ltd., against the decision of Fylde Borough Council.

The appeal against a failure to determine that a planning obligation should be modified is allowed in varied form, relating to land at Dukes Way, Axeminster, Devon, EX13 5FN. The application sought to have the planning obligation modified to reduce the overall requirement for 48 affordable dwellings (40%) to the 20 dwellings that have already been provided (16%). The application Ref 14/2304/V106 was registered by the Council on 19 September 2014. The appeal is made by Betterment Properties (Weymouth) Ltd against East Devon District Council.
