Appeal A

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for a mixed use development comprising demolition of existing employment building, erection of new employment building for provision of up to 2,500m2 of employment use (B2/B8), erection of 61 dwellings (including no fewer than 24 affordable social houses), alterations to existing access in the vicinity of London Road and provision of an access road within a corridor not less than 16m wide, including an amenity strip not less than 4.5m wide along the west side, provision of land for an access corridor not less than 20m wide for possible future access to the employment allocation site to the east, alterations to existing access on to Beechenlea Lane, provision of not less than 0.24 hectares retained open land, provision of not less than 1.41 hectares of public open space, including an equipped play area, and provision of a public footpath, at Broom Hill, Swanley, Kent in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref SE/12/03421/OUT, dated 24 December 2012 and the plans submitted with it, subject to the relevant conditions set out in Annex A.

Appeal B

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for a mixed use development comprising demolition of existing employment building, erection of new employment building for provision of up to 2,500m2 of employment use (B2/B8), erection of 39 dwellings (including no fewer than 16 affordable social houses), alterations to existing access in the vicinity of London Road and provision of an access road within a corridor not less than 16m wide, including an amenity strip not less than 4.5m wide along the west side, provision of land for an access corridor not less than 20m wide for possible future access to the employment allocation site to the east, alterations to existing access on to Beechenlea Lane, provision of not less than 0.94 hectares retained open land, provision of not less than 1.44 hectares of public open space, including an equipped play area, and provision of a public footpath, at Broom Hill, Swanley, Kent in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref SE/12/03422/OUT, dated 24 December 2012 and the plans submitted with it, subject to the relevant conditions set out in Annex A.

Appeal C

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for a mixed use development comprising erection of 20 dwellings (including no fewer than 8 affordable social houses), provision of land for an access corridor not less than 20m wide for possible future access to the employment allocation site to the east; alterations to the existing access on to Beechenlea Lane, provision of not less than 1.06 hectares retained open land, provision of not fewer than 1.48 hectares of public open space, including an equipped play area at Land at Broom Hill, Swanley, Kent in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref SE12/03423/OUT, dated 24 December 2012 and the plans submitted with it, subject to the relevant conditions in Annex A.

Appeal D

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for a mixed use development comprising erection of 20 dwellings (including no fewer than 8 affordable social houses), provision of land for an access corridor not less than 20m wide for possible future access to the employment allocation site to the east; alterations to the existing access on to Beechenlea Lane, provision of not less than 1.06 hectares retained open land, provision of not less than 1.48 hectares of public open space, including an equipped play area at Land at Broom Hill, Swanley, Kent in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref SE12/03424/OUT, dated 24 December 2012 and the plans submitted with it, subject to the relevant conditions in Annex A.

Accordingly, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s recommendation. He hereby dismisses the client’s appeal and refuses outline planning permission for residential development, village centre, including primary school, retail, business and other uses (classes A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, B1, D1 healthcare and D2 community facilities), public open space, recreation areas, play areas, woodland planting, and associated infrastructure including roads, sweres amd water storage ponds, on land north of the A511 Stephenson Way, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE6 0FW in accordance with application reference 10/01208/OUTM, dated 23 December 2010. 

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for the erection of 69 no. dwellings with associated garaging, parking, open space, landscaping and infrastructure on land to the east of 57 Moira Road, Ashby-de-la-Zouch in accordance with the terms of the application Ref 09/00620/FUL, dated 30 June 2009, as amended, subject to the conditions set out in Annex A.

The appeal is dismissed insofar as it relates to housing. The appeal is allowed insofar as it relates to employment. Planning permission is granted foremployment (class B1) up to 2900sqm, landscaping, means of access and associated infrastructure works at White House Farm, Stokesley, North Yorkshire TS9 5LE in accordance with the terms of the application Ref 11/01300/OUT dated 10 June 2011 and the plans submitted with it, so far as relevant to that part of the development hereby permitted and subject to the conditions set out in the attached Annex 1.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for residential development on land at Manchester Road/crossings Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, Derbyshire SK23 9TP in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref HPK/2011/0282, dated 26 May 2011, subject to the conditions set out in Annex A to this decision.

Appeal A

Accordingly, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s recommendation. He hereby grants outline planning permission for up to 450 dwellings, a community centre, a 1 form entry primary school and associated access, open space and landscaping (means of access into the site to be considered but all other matters are reserved) for the Land North of Marnel Park, Popley, Basingstoke, Hampshire (application reference BDB/75761 dated 25 January 2012) subject to the conditions listed at Annex A to this letter;

Appeal B

Accordingly, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s recommendation. He hereby grants planning permission for 200 dwellings with associated access, open space and landscaping for the Land North of Marnel Park, Popley, Basingstoke, Hampshire (application reference BDB/75762 dated 19 January 2012) subject to the conditions listed at Annex B to this letter.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for demolition of no. 27 Brewers Lane, and the development of up to 39 dwellings and associated infrastructure at 27 Brewers Lane and land to the rear, Badsey, Evesham, WR11 7EU in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref W/09/01690/OU, dated 14 July 2009, and the plans submitted with it, subject to the conditions in the attached schedule.

The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission granted for 45 dwellings, including affordable housing and open space, at Land at Allesborough Farm, Pershore in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref W/11/00752/OU, dated 31 March 2011, and subject to the conditions listed at the end of this decision.

The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for residential development for up to 36 dwellings with associated areas of landscaping and open space at land to the north of Broadway Road, Evesham, Worcester WR11 3HG in accordance with the terms of the application Ref W/11/01738/OU, dated 2 August 2011, subject to the conditions set out in the schedule at the end of the decision.
