The appeal is allowed, and outline planning permission is granted for a residential development of up to 234 homes with all matters reserved except for an access from Maidensfield, at Land off Watmore Lane/Maidensfield, Winnersh, Berkshire Easting 478940 and Northing 170753, in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref: 230208, dated 18 January 2023, subject to the conditions.

The Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s conclusions, and agrees with her recommendation. He has decided to allow the appeal and grant planning permission. Permission has been granted for 350 house on land allocated for housing on the edge of a Gloucestershire town.

The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for the erection of up to 225 dwellings (including 40% affordable housing) with public open space, landscaping and sustainable  drainage system (SuDS) and a vehicular access point on land off Desford Lane, Ratby, Leicestershire LE6 0HF in accordance with the terms of the application Ref 21/01295/OUT, dated 15 October 2021, and subject to conditions.
