The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for the demolition of the existing college building and erection of 10 houses comprising 2 and 3 storey and amendment to plot 50 at St Helens College Newton Campus, Crow Lane East, Newton-le-Willows WA12 9TX in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref P/2013/0420, dated 16 May 2013, subject to the conditions set out in Annex A.
