The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission has been refused for the demolition of existing agricultural structures and the erection of up to 185 dwellings with public open space, landscaping, sustainable drainage system and vehicular access on land east of the Common, Barwell. The application Ref 17/00531/OUT, dated 26 May 2017, was refused by notice dated 29 August 2017. The appeal is made by Gladman Developments against the decision of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.
