Richborough promoted a 13-acre site off Balsall Street East in Balsall Common. The site was a proposed allocation in the Solihull District Local Plan and we submitted an outline planning application for 110 homes after the Local Plan was submitted for examination. The Local Plan was subsequently found unsound and withdrawn. We secured a resolution to grant in March 2025. 50% of the properties will be affordable and 5.1 acres is dedicated as public green space.
The site was sold to Charles Church in September 2025.
