In March 2024, outline planning consent was granted at Appeal for 230 new homes at Upper Heyford, Cherwell to be delivered by development partner Lone Star Land.
The 29-acre scheme is north of Camp Road, on the edge of the village of Heyford Park, the site of the former RAF Upper Heyford airfield.
Proposals include a mix of one to five-bedroom market and affordable homes with attractive high-quality landscaping and public open spaces, children’s play areas and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The site has good selection of local amenities and services within walking distance including Heyford Park School, a convenience store, squash courts and a gym. The new Heyford Park Village Centre and village green are also being delivered on Camp Road.
