Jack joined Richborough’s Central team as Assistant Land & Planning Manager in 2026 as part of his industry placement year at Nottingham Trent University, where he is studying Property Development and Planning.
Based at Richborough’s Birmingham headquarters, Jack supports the Central team across its portfolio of strategic land projects, gaining hands-on experience across the land promotion and planning process while putting his university studies into practice.
Jack first joined Richborough for a period of work experience in 2025. After enjoying the experience and impressing the team with his enthusiasm and knowledge, he returned to undertake his placement year with the business.
Working alongside Richborough’s land, planning, design and technical specialists, Jack is developing his understanding of the different stages involved in identifying, promoting and delivering strategic land opportunities.
Outside work, Jack enjoys playing padel, watching films and catching up with friends at the pub. He also enjoys travelling, most recently spending a long weekend in Madrid. His favourite film is The Goonies.
